What’s been happening:

I have been living in paradise for over 10 years. Sometimes it's paradise interrupted as evidenced by Hurricane Georges. My husband & I are featured on the weather channel (TWC) storm stories-Hurricane Georges. We lost everything , but picked up the pieces & moved on. I am active in the American Red Cross, I volunteer as an instructor, do community events, have started a free blood pressure screening program for the community, disaster services-I teach & assist those affected by fire or other natural disasters, I am the Lower Key Disaster Action Team leader. I also serve on the federal program Medical Reserve Corps, I am the Lower Keys Team Leader. My husband & I support other community events. We are asked to use our Cadillac hearse in events such as marathons for water, moral & music support, in the fantasy fest, for private events. This is such a fun town!!! The 8 foot surge of hurricane Wilma gave us a bump in the road , but we picked up the pieces again & moved on. Just another day in paradise.
